TIRANA, September 17 – The Homeland Justice group has recently released an information regarding cyber attacks against Albania. Homeland Justice says that through cyber attacks they have expressed their hatred and anger towards the Albanian government.
“We carried out the cyber attacks to express our anger and hatred towards the Albanian government. Foreign terrorists and money launderers do not belong to our holy land. Our land needs to be cleaned,” wrote Homeland Justice on social networks which published its information on Saturday.
This group of hackers has previously carried out a cyber attack on government systems in Albania, while also leaving their messages on the network.
They wrote earlier that they did not want to harm the interests of the people, but Albania has a corrupt government and politicians, that is why they undertook the attack, paralyzing the functioning of the state.
Albanian PM Edi Rama has put the blame on Iran about the cyber attacks cutting diplomatic relations with Tehran an act which has been praised by the US and NATO officials.
Rama said in a news conference on Saturday that no state secrets were received by the hackers playing down the damage done on sensitive issues of Albania.
