TIRANA, September 26 – Albania is boiling because the dissatisfaction and hatred towards the government of Edi Rama is more extraordinary than ever.
This assessment of the situation in this Balkan country was made by the chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha at a meeting of the National Council on Monday.
“The situation is depressing and will worsen even further if we do not manage to prove that we have not stopped our mission. The time has passed, it is not coming, the time of powerful and comprehensive protests is passing. Every day is a loss,” Berisha said.
According to him, the scheme of the government to set a 800 kwh limit of energy to be used by households and any extra kwh should be paid at the market price of 42 lek is a blow on the middle class.
“Each democrat and leader must do everything to mobilize and motivate the DP in the first place, which must rise to the level of the high temperatures that exist among the citizens and the hatred and dissatisfaction against this government. Then let’s move on to various forms of resistance and peaceful uprising,” said Berisha.
