TIRANA, October 8 – Chinese Ambassador to Tirana Zhou Ding met on Friday with Albanian President Bajram Begaj. China’s diplomatic representative thanked the Albanian head of state for sending his congratulations to Chinese President Xi Jinping and informed him on the activities of the Chinese Culture Week and China’s National Day that took place in Tirana in recent days.
Zhou said that China and Albania have a deep traditional friendship and that now the relations of cooperation between the two countries are going well.
“I am ready to make efforts together with Mr. President to push this cooperation to achieve more results for the benefit of both peoples,” Ambassador Zhou said during the meeting.
While Albanian President Bajram Begaj once again expressed his best wishes to the Chinese people on the occasion of the National Day, and congratulated him on the successful crowning of the Chinese Culture Week.
Begaj said that the activities, such as the exhibition of historical photographs, exchanges between popular artists and cultural performances, contribute to fostering mutual friendship and the better recognition of the history of China and present relations betweenrist the two countries.
