TIRANA, October 9 – The head of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta, has distributed a message to Albanians on Sunday through which he called on them to give him power, so that he could then be accountable to them.
Through a video cut from an interview on the News24 TV, Meta underlined that he had always been open to accountability and transparency.
“Always open to accountability, always transparent. I have only one message for Albanians: Give me power, I wil ban in accountable to you!” stated Meta in excerpts of the video
While in the caption of the post through which he distributed the footage, Meta said that “My coherence has been absolute in relation to democracy, the Constitution and European integration. I have only one message for the Albanians: Give me power, I will be accountable to you!” /Argumentum.al
