TIRANA, October 25 – Freedom Party (FP) deputy Erisa Xhixho has published some data from Eurostat on her social network Facebook on Tuesday that show the mass departure of Albanians from their country. Xhixho said that PM Edi Rama is managing to deport more citizens from the country than Russian President Vladimir Putin deports from Ukraine. “Albanians want to leave because this government has made this country unlivable,” Xhixho said.
According to Eurostat, more Albanian citizens than Ukrainean leave Albania. “1100 Albanians have requested asylum during 8 months, while Ukrainians fleeing the war are only 950. Albanian applications increased by 68% compared to last year,” said Xhixho.
“Albanians are fleeing because this government has killed their hope. Rama is managing to expel more citizens from the country than Putin expels from Ukraine,” said the FP deputy closing with the calls: It’s time to stop depopulation! It’s time to restore hope! /Argumentum.al
