TIRANA, October 26 – Enkelejd Alibeaj, the head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party (DP) deputies group, who follow the former DP head, Lulzim Basha, made public on Wednesday the two names that the DP would submit to the Assembly for the People’s Advocate. According to him, Ledio Braho and Dorian Gjomarkaj will undergo the voting process.
“One of the skills we evaluated in the selection was the cleanliness of the figure, but also the professional ability,” said Alibeaj.
“We have decided that the names are not related to state security and the communist period. They should not have even the slightest shadow of doubt about the past. In our selection, we also adhered to the criterion of political actuality,” he said.
“The DP group unanimously managed to focus on two names: Ledio Braho and Dorian Gjomarkaj. We conducted several rounds of analysis and voting in the DP group. I declare that the DP group’s preference is Mr. Ledio Braho at the end of the selection process,” said Alibeaj. /Argumentum.al
