TIRANA, November 6 – The rising tension of the situation in the northern municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo and the incitement of this tension by the criminal structures, which are commanded by Belgrade, is a very dangerous game for peace and security in the region and beyond, has said the chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta.
Meta made that comment in a post on social networks on Sunday stressing that the situation coincides with the continuous tendency of Russia’s Putin to escalate the aggressive war in Ukraine and attract the attention of world opinion with the creation of new tensions and hotbeds in different parts of the world.
“We support every action of the state institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to protect the democratic and constitutional order of the country and we call for a reduction of tensions,” said Meta, a former president and PM.
He called on the state and institutional leaders of Kosovo to find the right solution to the problems between Kosovo and Serbia in close cooperation with the US, the EU and NATO, implementing the agreements reached with the mediation of the international factor and in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. /Argumentum.al
