TIRANA, November 9 – Speaking about the scenario of the nationwide protest that will be held in Tirana on Saturday (November 12) at 16:00, the chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha said on Wednesday that the citizens will express their revolt to Rama’s government. “He will face the justice for any affair, especially with the passage of the statute of limitations. However, the citizens have the most powerful word on November 12, which will be the popular revolt of the Albanians against this regime that does not stop stealing from them,” he said. According to Berisha, the scenario is the biggest protest the country has ever seen. “Citizens will express their grievances and hatred towards a regime that has made their country unlivable. It has alienated their flag, homeland, everything,” said Berisha.
Earlier in his remarks in the deliberations of the Assembly Berisha denounced the project of Durres which, as he said, is the largest corrupt affair in Albania.
PM Edi Rama got in trouble with DP lawmakers and used the harshest words against them offending in the dirtiest way. A demand of opposition to punish Rama for such language was rejected by Speaker Lindita Nikolla. /Argumentum.al
