TIRANA, November 18 – Albania has become a full member of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. This was announced by a press release issued by the press office of the EU Delegatiion to Tirana on Friday.
This major step in strengthening the regional cooperation on disaster management was marked with a visit by the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič, to Tirana, said the press release.
It revealed that Lenarčič met with Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama and Minister of Defence Niko Peleshi. /Argumentum.al
