TIRANA, November 20 – The seven candidates of the Democratic Party (DP) in the primaries for the Municipality of Tirana continued the campaign with meetings at neighborhoods 7 and 10 in Tirana on Sunday. Earlier they unveiled their programs in meetings with the democrats of neighborhoods 6, 13, 15 and 16 in the capital.
It is reported that Adriana Kalaja, Belind Këlliçi, Enkelejda Fejzo, Fatmir Merkoçi, Gerti Bogdani, Ilir Alimehmeti and Julian Deda unveiled their platforms for Tirana, seeking the vote of the Democrats, who will choose one of them as the opposition candidate for the local power elections on May 14 next year.
Their campaign will continue until December 4. The Democrats will decide which of them will face Erion Veliaj, the current Mayor and candidate of the Socialist Party, in the race for the municipality of Tirana on December 4, 2022. /Argumentum.al
