TIRANA, November 24 – Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to the opposition for the Durres Port project, saying that it will be an engine of the economy, which will bring a fund of 8 billion euros GDP.
“For 110 years, the poor Albania has been a toy for the old fashioned politicians who change their faces and names and still continue the old ways. They claim that the port is being taken, the ancient port, by partners in fiscal taxes, the company of the Karriç brothers, with Lul Brava (Basha) who launders the money and such things,” said Rama in the plenary session of the Assembly on Thursday.
“The port will be an economic engine. It will bring a fund with 8 billion euros GDP and will raise the value of all hotels in Durrës,” said Rama.
Rama’s speech was full of curses and offenses against opposition, particularly against the DP head, Sali Berisha who continues to be the main accuser of the project of Durres veiled with many unknowns even for the public opinion of this Balkan country. /Argumentum.al
