TIRANA, November 26 – The US Embassy has taken a stand after the strong accusations made against the leader of the socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla. Syri.net said on Saturday that it has learned exclusively from sources close to the government that the American embassy in Tirana has instructed its staff to avoid public meetings and any type of contacts with Taulant Balla until the charges against him are clarified.
It is learned that a message was distributed to the staff of the US embassy and the order was sent to all diplomatic staff.
Strong accusations have been made against Taulant Balla by culprit Ardian Çapja that he ordered the murder of lawyer Ravik Gurra.
According to him, the lawyer managed to secure some wiretapping of Balla by prosecution and he was killedn because of this.
The existence of these interceptions was not known until Çapja spoke. Syri.net has published data from the investigation files for the prosecution’s wiretapping of Balla. Due to the very serious event, the numbers were urgently intercepted, and Taulant Balla was intercepted for only two days. Balla’s phone, which ends with the numbers 399, has been tapped for 46 hours and 50 minutes in a row.
The intercepts were deleted a few days later by court order, but there are indications that a copy of the file has been preserved. /Argumentum.al
