TIRANA, December 1 – President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic confirmed on Thursday that no one from Belgrade will go to Tirana on December 6.
Speaking to Pink TV, he said that the decision is due to the appointment of Nenad Rashic as Minister for Communities by Kosovar Prime Minister Albin Kurti. Vucic said this is a violation of the Brussels Agreement. He levelled insults against Kurti, saying he is terrorist scum.
Vucic said Pristina picked up the worst Serbian scum, Rashic and Rada Trajkovic. “It is so worse because they do not have the trust of anyone in Serbia, but they have the trust of Albin Kurti and the Western agencies,” said the Serbian President.
“No one from Serbia will be in Tirana. All of you from Europe and the Western Balkans go nice, travel by plane, talk nonsense,” Vucic said.
This is a blow on both the EU and PM Edi Rama as host of the EU-WB Summitt. But the most hurt is Rama, who is the architect of the Open Balkans together with Vucic. It is to be seen if Rama might be able to convince his political ally Vucic to change mind. /Argumentum.al
