TIRANA, December 4 – The General Secretary of the Democratic Party (DP), Flamur Noka has said that the demolition of a 7-storey hotel, private property with the permission of a company that runs a large media group critical of the government two days before the EU Summit in Tirana is proof of PM Edi Rama’s stupidity.
A seven-story hotel on the coastline of Kavaja was demolished by the National Inspectorate of Territory Protection (IKMT) on Sunday.
According to him, even though there were only a few hours left before the Administrative Court would rule on the annulment or not of the decision on the demolition, the government gendarmes pressed the tritol button.
“A 30 million euro investment has turned to ashes before the eyes of millions of Albanians,” declared Noka.
IKMT announced on Sunday that it successfully carried out the controlled explosion of a 7-storey building on the coastline of Kavaja.
According to the announcement of IKMT, 70 kg of explosive material placed in 730 furnaces (open holes in the body of the object) were used.
“The explosion was carried out without causing any collateral damage,” announced IKMT. /Argumentum.al
