TIRANA, December 8 – Prime Minister Edi Rama is on an official visit to Azerbaijan flying there from Brussels on Thursday morning, said Rama.
In a post on social networks on Thursday, Rama announced that he met in Baku with the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev in the framework of this visit.
Rama emphasized that a balance sheet was made of the progress of relations between the two countries in this meeting after Aliyev’s visit to Albania, where important concrete milestones of cooperation were set.
Rama also thanked Aliyev for the presidential decree opening the embassy of Azerbaijan in Tirana.
Rama is accompanied by the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku and the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro during this visit. /Argumentum.al
