TIRANA, December 8 – The head of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta, has congratulated Youth Day through a post on social networks. Meta said that today democracy is under the aggression of a violent regime, while he encouraged young people to commit themselves to change this situation.
“Happy December 8, Youth Day! 32 years ago, the Student Movement led by (late) Azem Hajdari killed fear and overturned the myth of the most brutal dictatorship on the continent,” noted Meta on Thursday.
According to him, December 8 put Albania on the path of freedom and democracy!
“Today, when political pluralism, freedom and democracy are under the aggression of a violent kleptocratic regime, it is time for a historic commitment of young men and women in the defense of Freedom and Democracy,” Meta said, adding that this is the way to stop depopulation and guaranteed an Albania that belongs to young people. /Argumentum.al
