TIRANA, December 18 – The Secretary for Immigration and Diaspora in the Democratic Party (DP), Indrit Hoxha said on Sunday that “on the Day of Immigration and Diaspora, Edi Rama came out with a speech as befits him, manipulative in facts”.
In a statement to the media, Hoxha reacted after the speech made by Prime Minister Edi Rama at the annual meeting of the Diaspora Coordinating Council, adding that “he did not say a word about the 744,000 Albanians who left since the ruling of his government in 9 years.”
Hoxha said that Rama did not say a word about the young people who have no perspective in their country and unfortunately see the alternative of leaving by rafts, risking their lives.
“Edi Rama has no way of speaking about the truth because he knows and is aware that his only interest is depopulation. With depopulation, he seeks to hold hostage the narcostate he consciously created, and this refutes his manipulative rhetoric that Albanians found crime in Europe and did not invent it themselves,” added the DP representative. /Argumentum.al
