TIRANA, December 22 – The problems of the Greek minority in Derviçan will be solved with a spirit of cooperation.
This was declared by the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who was on a visit there accompanied by PM Rama on Thursday.
Mitsotakis said that the Greek minority is a bridge of cooperation between the two neighboring peoples, and if this happened 31 years ago, this applies even more today, and you should know that we have very close cooperation with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Speaking about the integration of Albania into the EU, the Greek Prime Minister said that “I know very well that we did a lot of work, we put our shoulders to speed up the European perspective in Albania and it is no coincidence that today there are two flags, the Greek and the Albanian and between them is the flag of the European Union,” he said.
“My visit here today to two minority municipalities and to Himara is a visit with special emotion because I really care about the Greek minority and I will do everything I can to help and support you,” said the Greek PM. /Argumentum.al
