TIRANA, January 3 – The Constitutional Court has accepted the lawsuit of the Democratic Party (DP) for annulment of the law that grants concession to the National Park of Butrint.
On November 14 of last year, MP Ina Zhupa submitted to the Constitutional Court a lawsuit signed by 36 opposition MPs, stating that this concession is detrimental to Albania’s cultural and historical heritage.
The democrat deputy announced on Tuesday through a reaction on social networks that this lawsuit has been accepted by the Constitutional Court, which invites all parties to present their arguments and evidence by January 23, 2023.
Zhupa further emphasized that a public hearing will be held afterwards, while adding that the Constitutional Court will stand up to its name and position. /Argumentum.al
