TIRANA, January 5 – Albanian exports to North Macedonia increased by ALL 4.5 billion during the 11 months of January-November 2022.
According to INSTAT’s official data on foreign trade, during the January-November period goods worth about 16 billion ALL were exported to North Macedonia.
INSTAT said that during the 11th month of last year, imports also increased by 2 billion ALL. Referring to the data, imports result in the figures of 14 billion leks as compared with 12 billion leks that were in the 11 months of 2021.
The most exported products continue to be fresh products: tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh fish, fresh citrus fruits, dough products, etc.
Albania and North Macedonia cooperate closely within the implementation of the CEFTA 2006 agreement and since 2011 trade between the two countries has been liberalized and operates without customs fees. /Argumentum.al
