TIRANA, January 11 – The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, commented on Wednesday the exclusion from the DP parliamentary group of 4 deputies.
Berisha said in a statement to the media that the head of the parliamentary group of DP, Enkelejd Alibeaj, carried out an order of Edi Rama as a vassal.
“He carried out an order of Edi Rama like a wretch. He is abused to the most extreme degree by Edi Rama for reasons he himself knows. He implemented an order of Edi Rama kicking even more on his dignity,” said Berisha.
Regarding the future of the DP parliamentary group, Berisha emphasized that, “it will be a vivid group, a group that will protect the interests of the citizens with all their potential. It will do everything to multiply the controls, which is the main task of the opposition.”
Asked if he would accept or give his consent if the DP deputies collect the signatures for Ervin Salianji as the Chairman of the parliamentary group, Berisha said that, “Salianji by definition is the chairman of the group, so I will accept without discussion of the will of the deputies of the Democratic Party.” /Argumentum.al
