TIRANA, January 18 – Prime Minister Edi Rama declared at the Davos Economic Forum in Switzerland that countries should not avoid cooperation in the face of cyber attacks.
During his speech at Tuesday’s panel at the World Economic Forum in Davos on the threat of cyber security, Rama declared that this attack is like a pandemic. According to him, the risk is higher than the pandemic and that the damage potential could be apocalyptic.
“I want to hope that countries don’t make the same mistake they did in the first phase of the pandemic to run and close in on themselves avoiding real-time cooperation because this is like a pandemic with an exponentially higher risk than a pandemic and the potential for damage could be apocalyptic,” Rama stated.
The Prime Minister stated that “we are still under attack. In fact, every day. It’s very exhausting, scary. And somehow we saw the other side of this blessing of technology which is the curse of technology”.
The founder of the media “Tortoise”, James Harding said that what happened in Albania last summer is an example of how cybernetics and geopolitics can affect the governments of any country. /Argumentum.al
