TIRANA, January 25 – Speaking at the meeting of the parliamentary group on Wednesday, the Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, among other things, accused PM Edi Rama of being involved in the most indisputable way “in one of the blackest affairs of times”, referring to the “McGonigal affair”.
“We gather today on a day when Albania is at the epicenter of a storm, which in historical memory has not existed at least in the last 50 years. Albania, Edi Rama, the head of the executive is involved in the most indisputable way in one of the darkest affairs of the times, in an act that exceeds any norm, any standard, any law, any morality, any imagination,” said Berisha.
According to him, Rama has de facto used as his asset one of the most important people of the US security system, by definition of the free world, the former head of counterintelligence of the FBI, one of the most trusted people in that country and to that country, Charles McGonigal. “With his irresponsible attitude, Edi Rama tries to behave as not involved. At a time when the indictment published by the US Ministry of Justice, in its 16 pages at least 15 are dedicated to Edi Rama, the former secret police officer, SHISH collaborator, Agron Nezaj, the shadow adviser of Edi Rama, Dorian Duçka,” said the DP head.
Berisha pointed out that Edi Rama has behaved in the most treacherous, unfriendly way towards our main strategic partner. “He abused secretly, treating as an ace, a man who never deserved the position he had. Charles McGonigal has two main charges: one is that he was tasked with overseeing Oleg Vladimirovya Deripaska, a man close to Putin, who actually became his asset.”
The tentacles of this mafia, Neza, Ducka, Rama, are capable of carrying out any kind of dirty operation, Berisha said, adding that by tramping the vital security interests of the US, but also of NATO and the free world as a whole. /Argumentum.al
