TIRANA, January 31 – President Bajram Begaj received on Tuesday in a meeting the ambassador of France to Albania, Elisabeth Barsacq.
In a post on social networks, President Begaj announced that the security of the region and the pre-election situation in Albania were discussed at the meeting.
Albania will hold local government elections on May 14 this year amid a politically tense situation combined by worsening economic conditions of the people.
“I received the Ambassador of France to Albania, Elisabeth Barsacq. We discussed regional security issues, the war in Ukraine and the pre-election situation,” said Begaj on social networks. /Argumentum.al
