TIRANA, February 1 – The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, who received in a meeting on Wednesday the delegation of the friendship group of the South Korean Parliament, headed by Lee Yangsoo, said that very good bilateral political relations are opportunities to take forward the overall relations.
“The 11 signed agreements are a good basis for strengthening economic cooperation and increasing South Korean investments in Albania,” she said. “Political and parliamentary cooperation serves the friendship between the peoples and the all-round cooperation between the two countries. The intensification of our cooperation is an indication of the will of the Assembly of Albania and the Parliament of South Korea to serve these goals.”
Nikolla expressed gratitude for the fact that South Korea was among the first countries to recognize the Republic of Kosovo and asked for support for its membership in international organizations.
Appreciating the same positions for supporting Ukraine, Nikolla underlined that Albania supports the foreign policy of South Korea, condemns the actions of North Korea to the detriment of peace and security and, as a peace-loving country, reflects these positions in the UN Security Council.
Yangsoo and the members of the delegation thanked Nikolla for the evaluation of bilateral cooperation and the will to strengthen relations and expressed that the favorable and positive climate for foreign investments is increasingly attracting South Korean investments to Albania. /Argumentum.al
