TIRANA, February 1 – “Nothing else on the agenda for tomorrow….only “Motion with debate” This is what everyone should ask for! We asked for this in the last session. Not only did the majority refuse it, but it also excluded five MPs from the Assembly deliberations!” said the deputy of the Democratic Party (DP), Tritan Shehu in a post on social networks released on Wednesday.
According to Shehu, at a time when a broad debate in the Assembly is necessary, this should be done on Thursday, also demanding the resignation of PM Edi Rama.
He said that it will be a debate where the majority of MPs express their thoughts, doubts, attitudes about this large-scale scandal. “This is not only for the relations with the US, but also for the dictatorial ways of hitting the opposition,” Shehu, a former foreign minister said.
In his opinion, under these conditions, nothing else can replace that debate and nothing else makes sense and that is why it is useful to be on the agenda for Thursday.
“Therefore, tomorrow all the colleagues, why not the leftists, but especially the opposition should “spend ” time and energy only by asking for this “Motion with debate” because nothing else has value. Everything else risks turning into a blur to cover up the scandal and Rame’s involvement in it,” stressed DP lawmaker Shehu. /Argumentum.al
