TIRANA, February 9 – The Chairman of the Freedom Party (FP), Ilir Meta, has said in a television interview that the Democratic Party (DP) and the Freedom Party have presented several initiatives to the Assembly that have been blocked.
“Edi Rama has destroyed parliamentarism with his puppets. The opposition did not block the parliament, the opposition presented proposals, the Democratic Party and the Freedom Party presented some initiatives, which were blocked. The opposition will restore parliamentarism,” said Meta on Thursday.
Speaking about the local power elections, Meta said that the Freedom Party has every opportunity to have advisers throughout Albania.
“I don’t want to deal with the past. Today, everyone has the opportunity to contribute to May 14. Our MPs are among the most valued deputies. I believe that the Freedom Party has all the possibilities to have advisers throughout the country, so that we can contribute to the protection of citizens’ interest,” said Meta, a former president.
