TIRANA, February 15 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha announced the decision made by the chairmanship at a meeting of the DP parliamentary group on Wednesday for holding a national protest on March 3. He also defined the only objective of the revolution that he said started without returning to overthrow PM Edi Rama.
The protest will be held at the same time when the Court of Appeal is expected to decide on the fate of the Democratic Party,
“The protest has only one target: Edi Rama. It has nothing to do with the court or other institutions. We do not act on bias. DP has the court’s decision,” said Berisha.
In addition to March 3, there will also be a protest on Thursday morning at the next session of the Parliament with the same scenario as last Monday.
“‘RamGonigali'” should not enter the Parliament. Even if he enters , he must remain under the terrible pressure of the revolution where he is, inside the Parliament,” said Berisha.
The DP head also commented on the Prime Minister’s visit to Dubai, that apart from the official agenda, he also had meetings with a person announced as wanted for cheating citizens through call centers.
“Besides the crown prince, he also met his brother’s partner, Amant Josif, not to mention several others,” said Berisha. /Argumentum.al
