TIRANA, February 18 – Freedom Party (FP) Chairman Ilir Meta has said that the fact that Prime Minister Edi Rama does not accept the establishment of the Investigative Commission on the McGonigal case is an indication that he is afraid because he is “immersed” in the scandal.
Meta said that Rama has refused accountability in parliament and the government head thinks that the constitution is a piece of paper. According to the FP leader, Rama is in terror of the scandals that he cannot cover, that they started and will explode and the honest socialists will disintegrate.
“It’s hopeless, no honest socialist will be removed from any municipality in the country. Those who are for intimidation, patronagists, even the hell does not need them. This story will end once and for all, Rama and the Rilindja gang will be kicked out,” said Meta.
Further he said that the Investigative Commission will be set up and asked the premier why he was afraid of it.
“Rama can have money to buy whoever he wants, but not Ilir Meta and Sali Berisha. He will have a catastrophic loss,” said Meta. /Argumentum.al
