TIRANA, February 19 – The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has called on Kosovo and Serbia to accept the European proposal as a way to normalize their relations.
Borrell said on Sunday in an interview for “Deutsche Welle” that he invited the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, to a meeting on February 27.
“I met with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti. I will meet both of them in Brussels on February 27. Yes, I have invited them to have a day full of discussions,” said Borrell.
However, he was not fully sure if the meeting would take place. “It is a proposal on the table.
