TIRANA, February 21 – Prime Minister Edi Rama and the accompanying delegation held a meeting on Tuesday with the Speaker of the Assembly of Japan, Hiroyuki Hosoda and the Japan-Albania friendship parliamentary group.
Prime Minister Rama, who is on an official visit to Tokyo, shared photos from this meeting on social networks.
Rama met with senior officials of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, and a number of important projects were discussed. Rama was reeived by the chairman of the Japan Business Federation and a representative from various economic sectors.
Prime Minister Rama started an official visit to Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday in the framework of the 42nd anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and Japan.
Rama is accompanied on this official visit (February 21-25) by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca and the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro.
In the framework of this visit, a series of meetings aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the two countries are planned.
Likewise, Rama will hold a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida, and will participate together with the accompanying delegation in the dinner hosted by him.
The year 2022 marked the 100th anniversary of friendly relations between Albania and Japan. /Argumentum.al
