TIRANA, February 23/ATSH/ The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhacka stated that “Albania fully supports the General Assembly’s resolution for peace in Ukraine”.
Xhacka said that “Ukraine did not attack Russia and never threatened Russia.” This claim is as ridiculous today, when the whole world has witnessed the weakness of the Russian army, as it was on February 23, 2022, when most of the world expected the invasion to succeed in a few days.
Xhacka said that “it was an unprovoked, illegal, criminal invasion of a country.” According to her, “it was above all an act of attack that clearly violated the UN Charter and international law.”
Xhacka recalled that “during the past year, it is not only our assessment of the military capabilities of the Russian army that has changed. The brutality of this force has become visible to everyone.” /Argumentum.al
