TIRANA, February 24/ATSH/ Prime Minister Edi Rama visited on Friday the Peace Memorial Museum in Hiroshima where he saw up close evidence of a dark part of Japan’s history.
The Prime Minister signed the guest of honor book at the end of the visit to the museum.
He also spoke to those present, describing this visit as a special humanitarian experience for all humanity.
According to him, this is the highlight of visiting Japan, because it is a unique experience of humanity and for humanity. “And I really want this experience to serve us as a lesson. No one should even imagine playing with nuclear weapons as they play with children’s toys. And there should not even be threats to our civilization with nuclear bombs,” said Rama.
The prime minister emphasized that “there were many people who thought that the invasion of Ukraine would take place within a week.”
“But here we are, after a year of heroic resistance of the people of Ukraine. Thanks to the support of the democratic world, not only Ukraine was not invaded, but it has become clear that Russia cannot win this war,” said Rama. /Argumentum.al
