TIRANA, March 3 – The Court of Appeal has returned to the Court of First Instance the case regarding the seal of the Democratic Party. According to the Court of Appeal on Friday, the case will be returned for retrial at the first level, thus accepting the appeal of Enkelejd Alibeaj, a faction of DP.
The session at the Court of Appeal started at 11:00, and the judicial body considered the appeal of Alibeaj, who requested the overturning of the decision of Judge Agron Zhukri to recognize the Assembly of Berisha on December 11, 2021 as legitimate.
Alibeaj’s group was represented in the session by lawyer Indrit Sefa and Rezart Kthupi, while the representative of the chairman of DP Sali Berisha was Ivi Kaso, who was accompanied by Oerd Bylykbashi and Ledina Mandia.
According to the decision, the case will be returned for a retrial in the first instance, but with another panel of judges which means that the battle for the seal has not closed because the Court of Appeal left the DP logo again in the hands of Enkelejd Alibeaj./Argumentum.al
