TIRANA, March 12 – Prime Minister Edi Rama will pay a visit to Athens, the capital of Greece, on March 20 and 21, government sources told the media on Sunday.
According to them, the head of the government is expected to open an exhibition of his paintings in Athens. Although not an official visit, Rama will hold meetings with some political representatives to discuss relations between the two countries.
The Prime Minister is expected to arrive in Athens at noon on March 20 and will have a working lunch with Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias. Minister Olta Xhaçka will also be present at this meeting, while the issue of the sea may also be a topic of discussion, since no consensus has yet been reached between the two countries.
On March 20, Rama’s exhibition is expected to open in “Zapion Megaro”, in which he will be accompanied by his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who will then have a dinner together. Meetings are also expected with the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament, Kostas Tasulas, as well as with the President, Kateriana Saqelaropoulu.
Rama will participate in the economic forum of Delphi on the last day of the visit on March 21, said the government sources. /Argumentum.al
