TIRANA, March 15 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP) has given details about the opposition coalition in the May 14 local power elections, revealing that they will be in a coalition with PL, PBDNJ and PDK in a press conference on Wednesday.
Berisha spoke positively, saying that the coalition could be called a winner in another way. Among other things, he has not spared criticism of Prime Minister Edi Rama, saying that he is terrified.
“We will form a coalition with PL, PBDNJ and PDK. Everything will be in accordance with the law. The coalition will include the entire right-wing spectrum. The broad coalition will be with many parties pledging to support candidates. There is a law that is taken based on the electoral record. You can call the coalition “Victorious”, that’s how we will come out. Look at Rama, he has a hellish face,” he said.
The coalition is the only alternative for the Democratic Party as the Central Election Commission to be represented in the upcoming local elections as CEC did not register it as a participating party because the Commission recognized the faction of Enkelejd Alibeaj as the official DP. However, even Alibeaj’s group was not registered because of missing documents. /Argumentum.al
