TIRANA, March 27 – Albania’s Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka held a meeting with the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, on Monday.
Xhaçka informed that excellent bilateral relations and their importance for stability in the Western Balkans were discussed at the meeting.
“We share the same opinion that the EU should continue to maintain the intensity of the integration process, taking into account the context of the war in Ukraine and the threats to the security and stability of the Western Balkans,” the minister underlined.
Meanwhile, Xhaçka held a meeting with the head of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, on Monday afternoon.
Xhaçka announced the meeting on social networks, where she said that she appreciated the role and inalienable contribution of Albanians in North Macedonia for stability, development and integration in the European Union.
Xhaçka had meetings with the highest authorities of the neighboring country. In the framework of the official visit to North Macedonia, Xhaçka encouraged political actors to fulfill their commitments to pave the way for the integration process. /Argumentum.al
