TIRANA, April 3 – Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on Monday that signatures have been gathered in the Assembly of the Council of Europe for the motion for a new resolution on the resolution of 2011, where accusations of human organ trafficking were raised against the Liberation Army of Kosovo (UCK) without any facts.
“We finally gathered the signatures in the Assembly of the Council of Europe for the motion for a new resolution on the resolution of 2011, where the terrible accusations against the glorious Kosovo Liberation Army for the trafficking of human organs were raised without any facts,” said Rama on social networks.
The Prime Minister said that the path to justice for Kosovo, the blood shed for freedom, the martyrs of the UCK and its heroes alive today in The Hague, will be long, difficult, even insulting to the core, but justice will triumph in the end because there is no force in the world to brand a liberation war as criminal.
Rama called on the Council of Europe to drop the charges against Kosovo and accept Albania’s request for a new resolution in his speech at the General Assembly of the Council of Europe on October 12, 2022. /Argumentum.al
