TIRANA, April 8 – Harvard University students in the United States of America now have the opportunity to choose to study the Albanian language as it is officially part of the language curriculum.
The news was announced by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in a post on social networks on Saturday.
“This semester, Harvard University students will have the opportunity to study the Albanian language among other languages. Widely considered to be one of the oldest languages in the Indo-European language family, diverse and the only representative of a separate branch of the Indo-European languages, the Albanian language is taught only in a few selected American institutions such as the State University of Arizona, DePaul University and Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. It is now also taught at Harvard University,” it was said in the post. /argumentum.al
