TIRANA, April 17 – The judicial process against the former leaders of the KLA, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi continued on Monday, according to an announcement of the Special Court.
The Court said that witnesses were heard in the case against Thaci and other UCK leaders.
During the past three hearings, the witness, who was a woman, answered questions in a closed session.
After more than two years in detention, the trial against the former leaders of the KLA began on April 3 with the opening statements of the parties.
They are being charged by the Office of the Specialized Prosecutor with accusations of crimes against humanity, such as persecution, imprisonment, inhumane acts, torture, disappearance and murder, as well as 4 counts of war crimes such as arrest, arbitrary detention, torture and unlawful killing. /Argumentum.al
