TIRANA, April 24 – The candidate of the “Together We Win” coalition for the municipality of Elbasan, Luciano Boçi, held a meeting on Monday with the head of the OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission, Audrey Glover, and the accompanying delegation.
Boçi informed through a post on social networks that the focus of the meeting was the maintenance of standards in the May 14 elections by OSCE/ODIHR.
He underlined that Rama’s constant statements that he will not cooperate with anyone from the opposition are unconstitutional and prove his fear of losing the elections.
“The OSCE/ODIHR must support the maintenance of the standards of the May 14 elections before these standards become unacceptable, as is happening! I conveyed this to the honorable OSCE/ODIHR ambassador, the head of the election observation mission, Audrey Glover and the delegation accompanying her today in my election office,” he said.
The opposition coalition candidate said that administration employees are under direct pressure to hand over 10-20 identity cards.
“For months, administration employees have been under direct pressure to hand over 10-20 identity cards. Every opposition supporter has received phone calls or direct threats at work and business. 16,000 beneficiaries of economic aid have been called and advised who to vote for so they don’t lose the aid,” said Boçi. /Argumentum.al
