TIRANA, May 12 – President Bajram Begaj conveyed a message to Albanian citizens on Friday as the start of the electoral ‘silence’ is approaching.
The head of state said that so far it has been the candidates who have spoken by unveiling their proposals and platforms, while this is the time when citizens should speak with their vote.
“All those involved in the elections spoke as they wanted, when they wanted and with the inevitable intensity of party proposals. Now everyone must keep silent, because you (citizens) are going to speak! And that’s the bottom line, your vote!” he said.
According to him, local elections provide opportunities for citizens to improve their living.
“So please cast your vote responsibly, without overlooking this very important moment for our cities and communities,” concluded President Begaj. /Argumentum.al
