TIRANA, May 14 – Albania voted on Sunday for the election of new local government leaders in the country’s 61 municipalities. Due to problems with the PEI electronic identification devices, the head of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Ilirjan Celibashi signed the order to continue the process with manual count.
According to the preliminary data of the CEC, the participation in the country level was 34.7%, a figure that is expected to change, but in any case it is very low.
The polling stations are closed across the country and below is a prediction by PM Edi Rama for the municipalities that the Socialist Party will win.
Rama posted a photo on FB where he wrote in a letter that SP wins with a score of +50, while the opposition 0-11. /argumenmtum.al
