TIRANA, May 19 – The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, met on Friday the general director of the General Directorate for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Gert Jan Koopman.
After the meeting, Xhaçka said that she and Koopman discussed the process of Albania’s integration into the EU and the geopolitical situation in the neighboring regions of the EU, created due to Russian aggression in Ukraine.
“We shared the same opinion about the very good performance that Albania has done on its way to the EU and that we should continue with the next steps within 2023,” Xhaçka said in a comment on social networks. /argumentum.al
