TIRANA, May 23 – The General Secretary of the Socialist Party, Damian Gjiknuri, participated in the conference on the role of parliaments in promoting security and stability through the green economy, connectivity and sustainable development organized in Azerbaijan.
During his speech on Monday, Gjiknuri said that Albania is the only country in the world that produces 100% renewable energy thanks to hydropower, the increase of solar energy capacities and finally that of wind, which, among other things, cause a positive effect for the green economy.
Regarding security and stability, he stressed that it is necessary to follow a common agenda towards a safer future for Europe and the world. /argumentum.al
