TIRANA, May 23 – The Democratic Party (DP) has welcomed the multidimensional training of the NATO armies in Albania, “Defender Europe 2023”, in a statement released on Tuesday.
“These maneuvers are of great importance for Albania and its security, but also for peace and security in Europe. These maneuvers together with the NATO maneuvers taking place in Kosovo are a powerful message that the North Atlantic Alliance sends to the Russian aggressor for its efforts to destabilize the region and its expansionist ambitions,” said the statement of the DP headed by Sali Berisha.
The statement pointed out that as the political force that made Albania a member of NATO the Democratic Party fully supports the guarantee of all the facilities in the land, water and air territory of Albania that the Alliance needs to fulfill its mission of protecting peace and security in the Euro-Atlantic space. /argumentum.al
