TIRANA, June 10 – The Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, has repeated that the proposal of PM Edi Rama for the statute of the Association of the Serbian community in Kosovo came from Belgrade.
“Edi Rama proposed the draft of the so-called Association without any responsibility, without any authority violating any kind of code and in a flagrant intervention in the affairs of a country. This project was certainly rejected by all the political forces of Kosovo,” he said during the conversation with citizens on social networks on Saturday.
According to him, after Kosovo did not accept Rama’s proposal his boss (Vucic) was forced to say that it does not suit them. “But Edi Rama got that project from his brother, his boss Vucic. In addition to the project, he used a language towards Kosovo that Putin would have liked. Rama said that Kosovo will return to the bronze age,” said Berisha.
“We have kept our positions, but I use the opportunity to call on the international community not to aggravate the crisis with Edi Rama because his involvement does not ease, but rather aggravates the crisis in the north of Kosovo, created first of all by the project of Greater Serbia of Aleksandar Vucic. He demands at all costs that those municipalities be governed by him after he failed with the change of borders,” said Berisha.
In the meantime, DP head called on the Kosovo authorities to do everything in their power to coordinate and cooperate with KFOR, the EU and the US. /argumentum.al
