TIRANA, June 15 – The chairman of the Democratic Party (DP), Sali Berisha, denounced in the parliamentary session on Thursday the project of the division of Kosovo, which has as its architect not only the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, but also the head of the Albanian government, Edi Rama.
Berisha said that Rama became Vucic’s lackey immediately after his visit to Serbia.
Berisha said that Vucic’s scenarios for the division of Kosovo were taken from Rama and both of them together are today the people who are working for the creation of Greater Serbia.
The chairman of the DP stated that the full service of Rama to Vucic regarding the Serbian plan of the Association is related not only to the service to Belgrade, but also to his desire to ease the difficult position he has from the investigation of the McGonical file in the United States. Berisha announced new developments from the investigation of this file, which has already joined the Russian investigation being carried out in the US.
Berisha considered Vucic as the main factor that threatens peace and stability in the Balkan region. He condemned Rama’s attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of Kosovo in favor of Serbia.
The leader of the opposition called on the International Community to immediately intervene in the release of the kidnapped policemen and their return to Kosovo. Berisha called the kidnapping of Kosovo policemen by Serbian forces a terrorist and banditry act in open violation of the UN resolution and the independence of Kosovo. /argumentum.al
