TIRANA, June 22 – Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi held a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of Romania, General Daniel Petrescu, according to an announcement distributed by him on social networks on Thursday.
Peleshi and Petrescu discussed the further strengthening of cooperation in the field of defense between the two countries.
Peleshi said that Albania and Romania, as two NATO allies, are fully committed to supporting efforts for a safe environment, to stop malicious influences in their respective regions.
Peleshi said in the post that is accompanied by a photo from the meeting as follows: “With the Chief of the General Staff of Romania, General Daniel Petrescu, with whom we discussed the further strengthening of cooperation in the field of defense between the two countries.
