TIRANA, July 5 – The Ambassador of Germany in Tirana, Peter Zingraf, has announced that he will leave Albania to take up a new assignment after the end of his 4-year term as ambassador in Albania.
In his farewell reception, he thanked all national and international partners and friends for the excellent cooperation, and all Albanians for their hospitality. Zingraf revealed that he and his wife have felt in Albania the same as in their home for 4 consecutive years.
The outgoing Ambassador praised the peaceful coexistence and tolerance between religious beliefs as a great achievement, which Albania can be proud of, and which Albanians will surely support and actively defend.
According to him, today Germany and Albania are more connected than ever and German tourists are coming in large numbers as curious and open visitors as there are direct flights in many German cities. /argumentum.al
